For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a motor driving school has started classes for females to teach them motorcycle riding. Now girls and women have started to learn two-wheeler riding in just few days.
This initiative was taken by School of Motoring Lahore (SMILE), and the first batch of girls has started training from December 17, 2012. This project is supported by ATLAS Honda Pakistan. They have provided teachers training and motorbikes for training. Project Director Naheed Niazi said that the city police of Lahore will provide driving license facilities to all trainees SMILE is introducing Motor-Cycle Riding through Experts trained by Atlas Honda Limited (AHL) at Railway Police Training Center Lahore.
